Becoming a Catholic
People
decide to become a member of the Catholic Church for many reasons and
at many different times of their life. Sometimes, it’s the desire
to share in the same faith as a spouse, fiancée or child.
Sometimes, it’s because of the faith we see in a neighbor or
friend. Some people have been going to Mass for years; others have
always been drawn to aspects of Catholicism,
but have never investigated further.
Maybe
you or someone you know is at a crossroads in life and would like to
explore the possibility of becoming a Catholic. Our parish family
invites you to come and see through the process of RCIA: Rite of
Christian Initiation of Adults. In the RCIA those interested in the
Catholic faith meet to learn about the church and to deepen their
relationship with God.
RCIA
is for Christians of other denominations, for those of other faiths who
have never been baptized, and for Catholics who have never received the
sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation.
Please call the Parish Office (724-568-2331) for more information.
